字面意思是“抓住某人正在做某事”，但要注意它多指做坏事哦。

例：She turned around to catch him in the act of trying to run upstairs.她转身发现他正准备往楼上跑。

catch sb. red-handed

red-handed本意为“正在作案的”，所以这个习语就意为“当场抓住某人(在做坏事)”。

例：He was caught red-handed taking money from the suitcase.他正从手提箱里拿钱的时候被当场抓获。
